It turns out that Liza Soberano’s social media accounts weren’t hacked after all.

On Wednesday (February 22), the Dolce Amore actress surprised fans after she returned to Instagram to tease what appears to be her new music under her record label, Careless Music. On her page, Liza, 25, shared stills from what seemed to be a music video for her song, before adding a few lyric lines in the caption.

Her post read:

“A flower’s dream.

“I wonder if flowers dream

Do they dream of having wings

Whispers of their flutter, their escape unseen

Imprisoned in a garden;

desire, its lock and key

A cage is a cage—even with a gilded gleam.

“Imagine them dancing against the wind

Shedding their petals as they ascend

A journey to the sun, a wish within reach

What a comforting thought this is to me

Dare I dream a flower’s dream.”

On her Instagram Stories, the actress also teased about a “life update” for her fans which she will release on her YouTube channel “soon.”

Her posts came a day after Liza seemingly wiped out all content from both her YouTube channel and Instagram accounts, causing fans to worry and think that her accounts were hacked. In addition to taking down all her posts, the actress appears to also no longer be following anyone on her social media accounts — although Liza has retained her massive following of more than 17.6 million on Instagram, and 1.55 million on her YouTube channel.

It was in June 2022 when Liza signed a deal with James Reid’s record label and talent agency, Careless Music, after being managed by Ogie Diaz for over a decade. The actress has been busy exploring career opportunities abroad since then and has officially moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her Hollywood dreams.

In August, she confirmed she was making her Hollywood movie debut in the horror-comedy film Lisa Frankenstein. Liza plays the role of Tiffy in the movie, which is directed by Zelda Williams and stars Cole Sprouse, Kathryn Newton, and Carla Gugino.
