Behind the Scenes: Jodi Sta Maria, Joshua Garcia in ‘Unbreak My Heart’

Dreamscape Entertainment has released the first behind-the-scenes photos of the highly anticipated new series Unbreak My Heart starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia, with Kapuso artists Richard Yap and Gabbi Garcia.

Set in Switzerland, Unbreak My Heart is the first co-production venture of network giants GMA Network and ABS-CBN Corporation in partnership with streaming platform Viu. It will air on GMA and will be streamed in 15 territories outside of the Philippines this 2023. Emmanuel Palo and Dolly Dulu are co-directing the show.

“We just can't wait to share the love beyond ordinary,” said Dreamscape.

Cameras started rolling for Unbreak My Heart earlier this month. The historic series marks the first time Jodi, Joshua, and Gabbi are all working together on a project. Meanwhile, Jodi and Richard — who starred alongside each other in the hit 2012 show Be Careful with My Heart — are set to be reunited in the series.

"I'm really proud, honored, and excited to be part of this show which is history in the making since this is the first time that two network giants will be working with each other. Of course I'm also excited to be working with Jodi again and all the other people in the cast," said Richard during a press conference for the series.

For her part, Jodi said, “This collaboration will really bring in opportunities not only to the networks, but for the people working in the network, for the people in the industry.”

Meanwhile, both Joshua and Gabbi also expressed their excitement to be part of the historic project.

"I'm really honored talaga na makasama dito, na pinili nila ako na maging parte ng proyektong 'to. Excited ako na gawin ‘yung character," said Joshua. 

"It's my first time doing this kind of role. Grabe 'yung growth and 'yung depth ng character ko dito sa show na 'to," said Gabbi.

Also joining the cast of Unbreak My Heart are Maey Bautista, Will Ashley, Bianca de Vera, Nikki Valdez, Eula Valdes, and Laurice Guillen. Other cast members include Sunshine Cruz, Dionne Monsanto, Gardo Versoza, Victor Neri, Jeremiah Lisbo, PJ Endrinal, and Mark Rivera.
