Kryz Uy experiences ‘content creator’s worst nightmare’: ‘My SD card got corrupted’

Fashion blogger, social media influencer, and YouTuber Kryz Uy shared in her new vlog last February 22 that she experienced a “content creator’s worst nightmare” wherein she had lost all of the footage of her fourth wedding anniversary.

“As a content creator, that is like the worst thing that can possibly happen,” the vlogger stated.

Kryz continued to express her sorrows and stated, “You exert so much effort into filming and, you know, looking for the angles and finding the best way to tell the story, and then when you get home, the files are corrupted.” She tried to look for her files by using different paid softwares, but she was still unable to recover them. 

Despite losing the files, Kryz continued to talk about the day she spent with her husband Slater Young. The couple took a pottery class in Manila at Wabi Sabi, where they made vases. Kryz happily shared that Slater made her a brush holder. She was able to show clips of herself and Slater during the pottery class which were airdropped to her by their pottery teacher.

She also shared that they had an anniversary dinner at hotel at a restaurant called Le Gastro. Kryz mentioned that the restaurant prepared private rooms and servers for the couple every morning when they have breakfast.

Kryz uploaded the vlog which started with a free-flowing Q&A with her husband. Being married for four years, the celebrity couple reminisced about the years they had together. They both shared how thankful they were to have spent so much time with each other’s families and with their first-born son, Scott Knoa Young.

The couple listed down the events that took place on the same day every year, starting off with February 13, 2020, when Kryz was in Cebu while pregnant with Scottie. On February 13, 2021, Kryz mentioned that their son was already with them and fast forward to February 13, 2020, she remembered making cookies with her son.

Slater and Kryz were married on February 16, 2019 in Cebu. They have two sons—Scottie and Sevilla—who were both born during the pandemic lockdowns.
