American media personality and businesswoman Paris Hilton gave her fans and followers on social media the first look of her first child, Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, last February 24. She and her husband, Carter Reum, happily posed alongside their newborn child in the photos they shared.

Paris and Carter welcomed Phoenix back in January 2023 via surrogate.

“Baby Phoenix. Our whole entire world,” she wrote in the caption.

Paris previously shared in one of her podcast episodes why she gave such a name to her first child. She revealed how she is partly inspired by the Arizona City, and is already looking forward to naming her future daughter after another city, London.

“I’ve been planning my children’s names for years and years,” she shared.

Paris was inclined to choose Phoenix as it had the meaning of “hope, rebirth, and transformation,” which she really liked. On the other hand, she wanted to pay tribute to her grandfather, William Barron Hilton, who served as one of her mentors growing up.

“He was always my mentor, and I looked up to my grandfather so much, and we were so close, and I miss him every day, so I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son’s name,” she added.

The 42-year-old American celebrity shared with PEOPLE how she had always dreamed of becoming a mother.

"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy,” she previously shared.

She revealed that they began the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down. We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, 'This is perfect timing. Usually, I'm on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let's just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,' and we have tons of them just waiting," she admitted.

Paris and Carter tied the knot back in November 2021 with a three-day wedding ceremony.
