LOOK: HORI7ON releases first concept photo ahead of debut

P-Pop group HORI7ON's first concept photo was released ahead of their official debut.

The photo was released on HORI7ON's official social media pages on Tuesday, February 28. Solo concept photos of each member were also posted. 

Composed of Reyster, Vinci, Winston, Kim, Jeromy, Kyler, and Marcus, the members donned matching white poet shirts.

Fans were quick to react to HORI7ON's photos on social media.

"Sana maraming magsusuport sa boys. They really deserve it ❤️," one fan said.

"OMG The First Ever Concept Photo of HORI7ON😍🔥❤️," another fan commented.

The members of HORI7ON was formed in February through the survival show Dream Maker.

The show was a collaboration between ABS-CBN and Korean companies MLD Entertainment and Kamp Korea. The group will have their debut in Korea.

According to MLD Entertainment CEO Lee Hyung-jin in a previous interview, the group will officially debut in June.

He added that HOR1ZON will be staying in the Philippines until March for some promotional activities.

"We have plans for HORI7ON to stay here in the Philippines until the last of March and do some promotional activities to meet the fans here in the Philippines," Hyung-jin said.

He also shared that the members will be starring in a reality show leading to their debut.

"We also have plans for them when they go to Korea to prepare for their album. Also, their trainings and our preparations for them right now is to debut by June. During the stages of their preparation for their album, [the plan] is to create a reality show for the fans to see how they are [doing]," he relayed. 

In an interview with the press before the Dream Maker finale in February, the aspirants said that they aim to bring their Filipino identities to the world stage.

"I think it's a privilege for us Filipinos na mabigyan ng opportunity na mag-promote sa Korea. I think the Filipino culture inside of us, madadala namin siya inevitably and naturally sa global stage," Vinci stated.

"Even if we're training with Korean coaches, there are also Filipino coaches who will train, and I think 'yun 'yung magandang dynamic na mabibigay sa'ming 'Dream Chasers,' kasi we get the true experience of the collaboration between South Korea and Philippines," he added.

Marcus added that bringing their Filipino identity will "come naturally."

"In the K-pop industry right now there are some non-Korean idols too. It's very common now actually so it will just be the same for us," he said.
