Anne Curtis took to social media to extend her gratitude to those who donated to raise funds for her charity initiative with UNICEF Philippines.

Anne recently ran at the Tokyo Marathon and launched a fundraising initiative to support TeleCPUs with UNICEF Philippines which, according to actress-host, are a "one-stop centers where abused children and women can safely and privately access medical, legal, and psychological services for free."

On Sunday, March 18, Anne shared that they were able to raise more than 1 million pesos.

"We can ALL be heroes, even if it’s just for one day. Closing my funding page at 1,089,264.67! Way above our goal & as promised, I will be matching that amount. So with our collective effort, we have raised 2,178,529.34," she posted.

The It's Showtime host highlighted that any amount donated was of great value.

"I would like to THANK each & every hero who donated. Whether it was 1 peso or 50,000 pesos, it was of great value. No donation was small, because behind each donation was a big heart that wanted to help Filipino children who are victims of abuse get the help they need to heal and recover," she stated.

She added: "I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity. Reading your messages & having that core goal of making a difference in lives of children kept me inspired for 42.2kms. Maraming Salamat mula sa akin at @unicefphils 🦋💙 Till the next one!"

Anne also gave a shoutout to her family who traveled with her to Japan for the marathon.

"And to my cheerleaders @erwan and Dahlia Amélie, I love you both so much. Thank you🤍," she said.

"Every single kilometre was worth it, knowing I was running to help Filipino children heal and recover through the funds WE (yes, this includes every single one of you that donated) raised together," she said in an Instagram post after finishing the marathon.

The Kapamilya star admitted that as a mother herself, she could not help but get emotional when she crossed the finish line. "It just hit a little differently this time around," she said.

"Running with a purpose bigger than just receiving a medal kept me fueled," she added.

She also thanked her coach and the Filipino supporters who cheered for her at the marathon.

Anne also penned a message for her family, saying: "Your hugs and kisses last night before sleeping were everything to me and helped start this whole day full of love."
