Moonbin and Sanha of South Korean K-Pop boy group ASTRO teased fans to expect more solo projects from them in the future.

The two were previously in Manila as they held a fan concert last Saturday, March 25.

The two sat down with ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe in an exclusive interview wherein they hinted at possible solo projects for the members soon.

Moonbin and Sanha became ASTRO's first official sub-unit since the group debuted back in 2016.

Sanha, the youngest member of the group, revealed that there are plans that fans may get excited about.

“Every time we would release a new album, we try our best to show you images or personalities that we have. Fans can be excited for future plans where we may also debut as solo performers,” Sanha shared.

Meanwhile, Moonbin added how thankful they were for their Filipino fans who have been supportive ever since their debut.

ASTRO previously visited the Philippines with all members of the group back in 2016 alongside other K-Pop acts such as BTS, AOA, and Gugudan, among others.

“2016 we came as a group, as ASTRO. We were able to come here. Even though we are just two, two of the members, we are very thankful and grateful for the passionate cheering and welcoming of the Filipino Arohas,” Moonbin said.

Sanha was equally delighted to be back in the country as he felt how welcomed they were the moment they set foot in the country.

“First of all, I am so happy to be able to come back to the Philippines and ever since our airport arrival yesterday, we have received [a] hot welcome from our Filo Arohas,” he continued.

ASTRO debuted back in 2016 under Fantagio Music and is composed of MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo, Moonbin, and Sanha.

The group was originally a sextet prior to Rocky leaving the group last February after his contract with the agency expired.

Apart from Moonbin and Sanha, Fantagio Music announced another sub-unit, Jinjin and Rock, last year. The latter was the second official sub-unit of the group.

Meanwhile, MJ debuted as a soloist in 2021. As for Cha Eun-woo, he has pursued several solo endeavors including singing several official soundtracks for a number of K-Dramas.
