WayV made sure that their Filipino fans had a truly memorable experience as they took them on a roller coaster ride at their fan meeting in Manila last Sunday, March 26 at the Araneta Coliseum.

The boys kicked off the show with “Kick Back” and “Try My Luck” for their first and second performances. They also performed other hits including “Broken Love”, “Dream Launch,” “Love Talk,” “Diamond Only,” and “Nectar.” Kun and Xiaojun impressed fans with their vocals.

The five members of the group also taught their fans the “Dream Launch” dance.

At one point during the show, Hendery said he couldn’t be any happier to meet Filipino Wayzennies in Manila while Ten said he felt happy knowing a lot of their fans could join them for the night.

For the “What’s In Bag” portion, Yangyang gave the introduction and showed some of the items inside Hendery’s bag.

Hendery took out some photos and went on a trip down memory lane as he recalled moments from their previous visit to the Philippines.

“This was our first time in the Philippines,” Hendery said of the first photo.

“We went to a restaurant together on a boat,” Yangyang added.

Hendery took pride in the fact that he knows the Philippines well and said he could serve as the group’s tour guide.

“During our first visit to the Philippines, we really had a good time. We took a lot of photos. This was taken by Kun. Am I handsome?” he said, pointing out to the second photo.

Fans then started cheering him on and shouted “Pogi pogi pogi” in chorus.

Reacting to the fourth photo, Hendery said: “Ah, the Philippines is such a beautiful country.” He added: “So, we tried to go to some places together … we enjoyed [ourselves] a lot.”

They then showed some of the snacks from their hotel.

While showing more items from Hendery’s bag, Kun revealed that they went around Intramuros the day before their fan meeting.

Ten, on the other hand, said he always wanted to go to Palawan. “I’d love to go to that place next time. See you guys there.”

But the boys also did special performances of aespa’s “Illusion,” NCT Dream’s “Candy,” and SHINee’s “Sherlock.”

“As you guys know, we are really big fans of SHINee sunbaenim, so we chose ‘Sherlock’ … I hope you guys enjoyed our stage,” Yangyang said during their performance of “Sherlock.”

Hendery then explained why they chose to show both cutesy and sexy performances. “Since we had no clue what image you want from us, we have to prepare everything for you, right?” he said.

Fans showed exuded energy throughout the show, prompting Ten to say: “No one’s gonna come home. We’re gonna stay here for a week.”

After that, fans started cheering “Walang uuwi.”

Towards the end of the show, each member of the group gave messages to their fans.

“As you guys know, Kun injured his leg. We said ‘Kun, just don’t dance.’ But he insisted. He said, ‘I really want to dance. I really want to do the whole performance,’” Xiaojun said.

“He (Kun) said ‘If I don’t dance… I will definitely regret [it],’” Hendery added.

“I really appreciate [you]. Thank you so much, Wayzennies. I’ve missed you guys so much. See you soon,” Xiaojun said.

Kun, on the other hand, reassured fans that he was fine.

“First of all, I would like to explain something. My leg is okay. It’s fine. So, please don’t worry,” Kun said. “Even from last year, we really wanted to come to the Philippines,” he added.

“Wayzennies coming here isn’t easy. So, with all our hearts, we really thank you all. We’ll come back more often. Thank you very much for loving us,” Kun continued.

“It’s my first time here in the Philippines. You guys have made my day. I’ll remember this day for the longest time. I promise that we’ll come back super soon and I hope to see you guys again,” Ten said.

“I would like to thank all our Wayzennies in Manila. Thank you for giving us love and support and giving us so much energy and great memories for today. We’ll come back soon. I love you guys so much,” Yangyang said.
