The world tour of Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber has officially been canceled in several countries which includes the Philippines. This comes after the tour’s Ticketmaster website tagged the singer’s shows as canceled in countries such as the United States, Ireland, France, Poland, Australia, among others.

Justin was originally scheduled to perform in the country back in October 2022, but was postponed indefinitely.

No reason has been given by the singer or his representatives to the fans who purchased his show. Fans have assumed that the reason for his canceled shows could be related to the illness he was diagnosed with.

Justin revealed that he has the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a rare complication of shingles that could cause partial facial paralysis. Aside from the facial paralysis, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome could also cause hearing loss for the affected individual.

The 29-year-old singer previously shared on Instagram that he needed time to rest. This announcement came after his performance in Brazil and several countries in Europe.

“I need time to rest and get better. I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately,” he previously shared.

The last time Justin serenaded his Filipino fans was back in 2011. The singer-songwriter was supposed to come back to the country in 2017 for his Purpose Tour but this was also postponed.

Meanwhile, Justin just turned 29 years old on the first day of March. His wife, Hailey Bieber, wrote him a special message on her Instagram.

“29 never looked so good ☺️Happy Birthday to you best friend! Words couldn’t possibly sum up all that you embody. So here’s to more joy, more travel, yummy food, adventures, more peace, fun, and most of all more love,” she wrote.

Justin married the American model back in 2018.
