With face-to-face events slowly returning in the entertainment industry, Star Magic finally held its inaugural Star Magic Prom last March 30 at the Bellevue hotel in Alabang. The event included not just the more established young stars but also showcased the up-and-coming artists from ABS-CBN’s talent management arm. Composed of mostly Gen Z celebrities, the guests dazzled in their Bridgerton-inspired gowns and suits as they walked the prom “ivory” carpet. 

During the individual introduction of the new stars, celebrities like Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, AC Bonifacio, Donny Pangilinan, and Belle Mariano gamely shared some words of advice on how to stay on the path to success in showbiz. The young Star Magic talents also received video greetings and advice from kapamilya stars like Vice Ganda, Janine Gutierrez, Vhong Navarro, Joshua Garcia, Maymay Entrata, Melai Francisco, Darren Espanto, and Alexa Ilacad during the course of the program. 

Another highlight of the prom was the announcement of winners of the Royalty Awards which were special accolades based on the week-long voting by netizens for different categories. Aside from the traditional Prom King and Queen, they also crowned Prince and Princesses for the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior batches of Star Magic this year. Here are the winners:

Star Magic also announced it’s upcoming lineup of exciting events for the rest of the year which include the debut of the Star Magic Bikini Ball, the Star Mamagic Day which is a tribute to all strong and extraordinary mothers, and the return of the All Star Games. There will also be the launch of the Star Magic Catalogue and the glittery holiday event to perfectly cap off the year, the Star Magical Christmas.
