Song Kang on first fan meeting in PH: ‘An unforgettable time’

<p>Song Kang successfully staged his first fan meeting in the Philippines on Sunday, March 5.</p><p>The South Korean actor met thousands of his Filipino fans at the Araneta Coliseum, describing the event as an &quot;unforgettable time.&quot;</p><p>&quot;In the midst of all your cheering and excitement today, I have such an unforgettable time. This is gonna be such a wonderful  memory that I will be taking home with me,&quot; he said.</p><p>Kang added that the fan meeting with his fans in the Philippines inspired him even more to work harder.</p><p>&quot;I enjoyed this time with you so much and I will be going home to work even harder and I will come back to see you. Until then please be happy and healthy. I have not able to come and to see the Filipino fans. So to finally be here and to be able to do that, I am very happy, a little nervous, but very much looking forward to it,&quot; he said at the press conference.</p><p>The actor also shared that he loves the weather in the country and the mangoes that he was able to try.</p><p>&quot;This is the kind of weather that I like. It&#x27;s been breezy and pretty cool. I am grateful. They feel like family because they&#x27;ve been with me since the beginning of my career and every time I go to Netflix to shoot whatever project is ongoing, I always enjoy my work with people familiar to me,&quot; he stated.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/1/8/-love-alarm-star-song-kang-to-hold-fan-meeting-in-manila-in-march-1117" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>READ: ‘Love Alarm’ star Song Kang to hold fan meeting in Manila in March </u></strong></a></div><p>The South Korean actor was also asked on where does he attribute the success of his shows.</p><p>He responded: &quot;I don&#x27;t think it is really anything that I did but it is because the K-Dramas as a genre, and I kinda rose with that popularity, so I think K-Dramas feature very relatable topics so my shows like <em>Love Alarm, Nevertheless</em>, I think they are very relatable shows so I am grateful that I am able to be acting at a time like this. I am working on <em>Sweet Home</em> as well so I hope you look forward to that and I am grateful for the encouragement that I continue to receive.&quot;</p><p>South Korean beauty brand Deoproce and Wilbros. Live brought Kang to the Philippines for his first fan meeting in the country.</p>
