Lauren Young fulfills dream of being a makeup artist

<p>Lauren Young is living her dreams.</p><p>The actress and former Star Magic talent, 29, revealed that she’s finally fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a professional makeup artist. In a social media post on Wednesday (March 8), Lauren said she enrolled at MUD Studio, a beauty school in Manila, after being encouraged by her family and her longtime boyfriend Toby Panlilio.</p><p>“The real ones know that I’ve dreamt of being a make up artist since I was a little girl. She also used to upload makeup tutorials for her fans on her YouTube channel, “Life With Lo” — from everyday to night out looks.</p><p>Lauren has been living in Subic where she grew up with Megan and their brother, Victor. She explained in a previous vlog why she decided to leave Manila and move back to their family home.</p><p>“Why did I move out of Metro Manila and why I am living in Subic Bay? Well, to be honest with you, I don’t have to be in Manila anymore,” she explained.</p><p>“Anyway, I’m just renting in Manila and I was staying there for school before and for work. And now that all our works are online or naka-bubble taping, naisip ko na parang hindi worth it na gagastos ako ng ganitong pera para mag-stay sa Manila in a small space, na hindi ko naman kailangan na nandoon ako,” she said.</p><p>“I can be in my home town, in a bigger house. ‘Yung bahay talaga na lilipatan ko, which is our family house, ni-renovate namin.”</p><p>Lauren has given fans a tour of her home in Subic.</p><div><iframe width="1519" height="585" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BVn-602OWDI" title="New House Tour!" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>“It’s pretty amazing how life works out when you just put your mind to it and adjust your expectation,” she said in her vlog.</p><p>“I don’t want to sound preachy, but I feel like God has blessing me and the stars are aligning for me to just do well,” she added. “I’m back to work and I’m also debt-free now. Lahat ng kinikita ko ngayon, napupunta lang sa akin, sa savings ko at sa mga gusto kong gawin.”</p>
