Lee Jong-suk to hold fan meet in Manila in April

Korean actor Lee Jong-suk is set to return in Manila this year.  


Fashion magazine L'Officiel Philippines announced on Wednesday, March 8, the Jong-suk will be headlining a fan meeting in Manila this coming April.


"It’s a date! The renowned Hallyu star and one of L’Officiel Philippines’ past cover stars Lee Jong Suk, is coming to Manila for an intimate fan meet on April 16, 2023," L'Officiel Philippines posted.  


The fan meet will happen at the PICC Plenary Hall. 


Tickets will be available at shoplofficielph.com starting March 13. 

"Stay tuned and make sure to follow @lofficielph for more details," the magazine added.


Following the announcement, fans of the actor were quick to express their excitement. 


"Excited! My fave Actor since Secret Garden," one fan wrote.  


"That's my birthday🤭 I think I will celebrate my birthday with you, oppa!" another fan posted. 


"Ticket and perks reveal na po please!" another fan commented. 


Jong-suk visited Manila in November 2018 for his "Crank Up Fanmeeting Tour" at the Big Dome. 

During his first fan meet in the country in 2018, the Korean star expressed his elation to see his Filipino fans for the first time. 


"I came here feeling very excited and nervous because it's my first time seeing my Filipino fans. And also, the fact that Manila is the last stop for our Crank Up Tour, I feel very excited and I hope that we'll have a good time today," he said as reported by PEP in 2018. 


He added: "I felt really thankful and surprised when you guys were already shouting my name in the airport."



Jong-suk first traveled to the Philippines in 2013 when he shot his movie titled No Breathing.


The Korean star made his acting debut in the K-Drama Prosecutor Princess. 


He rose to international prominence with his hit television series including I Can Hear Your Voice in 2013, Pinocchio in 2014, in 2016, While You Were Sleeping in 2017, and Romance Is a Bonus Book in 2019, among others.
