Vice Ganda celebrates 47th birthday

<p>Unkabogable star Vice Ganda shared how happy he was after performing a jaw-dropping birthday production on the noontime show <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime"><em><strong>It’s Showtime</strong></em></a><em><strong></strong>,</em> earlier today, April 1. This was because he personally felt like he exhausted everything in the 14 years of hosting the noontime variety program. </p><p>“Actually mahirap na mag-isip ng concept kasi 14 years na tayo. 14 years na may Magpasikat taon-taon. Eh bago pa magkaroon ng Magpasikat naubos na rin yung talent ko sa Sample, Sample,” he said.</p><p>It was during a brainstorming session for his upcoming concert that he was able to draw inspiration for his birthday production number. Vice compiled several songs on his Spotify account that he deemed fit for his personality. </p><p>“Ang dami kong narinig na mga kanta, gumawa ako playlist na titled na ‘Who am I?’ Yung mga playlist, parang ako ‘to. May mga ganun na kanta pag narinig mo, ay ako yun,” he added.</p><p>The Kapamilya star wanted the public to view him in another light––far from the perception and stereotypes thrown at him in the past. Ang daming pangalan na ibinibigay sa atin ng mga tao, ang daming haka-haka ng mga tao tungkol sa atin, ang dami nilang pinaniniwalaan tungkol sa atin. Pero kung mayroon isang tao na nakakakilala kung sino tayo, tayo yun.</p><p>“At tayo dapat mag describe kung sino tayo––kung ano tayo. Marami silang sasabihin tungkol sa atin pero iba yung truth natin. Everyone’s opinion is not synonymous with your truth,” he continued.</p><p>Vice was emotional in his speech as he continued to share his message for the fans. </p><p>“Minsan nakakalimutan natin kung sino talaga tayo kaya sabi ko gusto ko balikan sarili ko at kilalanin ko nga ‘ano ba ko, sino ba ko?’ Sa pamamagitan ng mga kantang to gusto kong sariwarain ulit at kumapit sa katotohanan ng sarili ko. This is my truth, these are my songs, these are my identity.
