In January 2023, news alleging Ravi’s use of a military broker surfaced. According to reports, the broker would arrange for the falsification of medical documents in order to deceive the system. Reports said that the broker allegedly facilitated false symptoms of epilepsy during military exams. This way, the client would be exempted from active duty and would instead be assigned to the social service department.

Given these circumstances, it was agreed upon by Ravi and VIXX’s management that it would be best for him to exit the group.
