Late-morning variety show Tropang LOL is set to go off the air soon after more than two years since it first premiered.

Tropang LOL first aired on October 19, 2020.

The show's hosts bid goodbye to their fans and fellow hosts after they finished filming their final episode.

Billy Crawford, for one, took a trip down memory lane and recalled the moments he shared with his Tropang LOL family as he confirmed that the noontime show had filmed its finale episode.

"Super fun while it lasted! This show gave so many opportunities to people who had lost their jobs at a vulnerable time. 2.5 years ain’t that bad, especially during the pandemic season and a time of uncertainty in our industry," he posted on his Instagram page.

He also extended his gratitude to the producer of the show saying, "@albeebenitez thank you for giving us this venue to work for our families while having fun and being free, and also opening doors for others."

The singer-host remarked that he would truly miss his co-hosts and the team behind the show.

"I will miss the atmosphere of this show because it was so genuinely light, friendly, uplifting for everyone, and each person on the team worked so hard," he said.

He continued: "But as I said, good things sometimes come to an end. I just pray that, one day, God will be able to give us a new home to continue what we have started. But Father, Your will be done in Jesus’s name."

He remarked that he will always cherished the friendship that he gained in the program.

"No matter what happens, the relationship built on this show will be cherished forever. Lots of tears on the last day of taping, but also lots of freaking laughter cause that’s just who we are. #TroplangLol thank you to everyone who watched and supported us since the beginning. To all my co-workers, it’s not goodbye, it’s see you soon. Love you all, Tropang LOL!" he said.

Billy's co-host KC Montero also took to social media to pay tribute to his Tropang LOL family.

"All good things must come to an end. Being part of this show has been one of the highlights of my career. Thank you @tropanglol. Until we meet again... soon," he posted.

Tropang LOL airs on TV5, Kapamilya Channel, and A2Z.
