"May oppa na naman tayong makikita!" another fan wrote.

Ha-jun made his debut as an actor in 2012 in the short film Peace in Them.

The actor also starred in various TV series throughout his career including Goodbye Mr. Black, My Golden Life, Something in the Rain, Romance Is a Bonus Book,  and 18 Again, among others.

In 2021, he catapulted to international fame after being part of the global hit Netflix series Squid Game. He played the role of a police officer named Hwang Jun-ho who stumbles upon a survival game.

In an interview with DEADLINE in 2021, the actor shared what made him say yes to playing the role.

"I like this genre myself and I was so fascinated by the script, revealing this shocking event from the eyes of an owl – as an outsider. That was what captured me and was why I decided to join the project," he remarked.

When asked what he learned and discovered about himself from portraying the role as it was very different from the previous ones, he replied: "I actually didn’t realize it at first, but there were a lot of people around me who told me that they absolutely loved the tone of my acting and liked the gaze I showed in the series."

He added: "I received a lot of compliments and realized that could be my strength in acting, so I hope to implement it into my performances going forward."
