The actress — who is expecting her first child with husband Perry Choi — shared with her fans on Tuesday (April 4) her new workout routine while being five months pregnant. Kris posted on Instagram a clip of her first day back in a Pilate studio after several months of being inactive due to her early pregnancy symptoms.

“MY VERY FIRST WORKOUT in 5 months or since becoming pregnant. I can now manage to perform a low impact exercise now that the majority of my early pregnancy symptoms have started to clear up!” she said.

“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I am a beast at the gym accustomed to heavy lifting and intense workouts. I’m so surprised with my low stamina and my overall lack of energy. Body weight seems to have doubled and I could only manage a few repetitions. Nakakapanibago, parang hindi ako 'to,” she added.

Kris maintained she is working out not to lose her pregnancy weight gain but to prepare her body for labor.

Speaking on PUSH Bets Live!, Kris opened up about some of the difficulties she's experienced during her pregnancy.

“During the first trimester talaga, that was the hardest for me. I was almost [on] bedrest and talagang I just feel exhausted and tired every single day,” she said. “So talagang kudos to all moms out there.”

She also shared how being pregnant has changed her body and perspective in life. The actress, who is admittedly a “fitness addict,” confessed that she’s become less vain during her pregnancy.

“Grabe, I didn’t expect the drastic changes na mangyayari sa katawan ko, not just sa katawan ko pero sa lifestyle ko,” she said. “Everything changed talaga. You know, I used to be a fitness addict. I’m used to having a flat tummy, talagang muscles and toned. Almost every day I work out. Ngayon talagang nagbago.”

Kilala ko sarili ko eh. Siguro dahil nga nasa showbiz ako, all I think about is myself all the time. Even nung nag-asawa ako, it should always be me. But then ngayon, nagbago ‘yung priorities ko.”
