Chito Miranda’s Instagram post last May 20, 2023 had DonBelle’s fans smiling.

In his post, Chito was seen with Kapamilya actress Belle Mariano.

"Nakita ko at nagpa-picture ako kay Belle Mariano,” shared Chito.

Chito admitted that he initially claimed the photo was for his wife, actress-entrepreneur Neri Naig Miranda. He later revealed that it was also because he himself was a supporter of Belle and her partner, Donny Pangilinan, and enjoyed their performance in the iWantTFC series He’s Into Her.

“Sabi ko para sa wife ko, pero sa totoo tuwang-tuwa talaga ako sa kanila ni Donny sa 'He's Into Her,'" admitted Chito.

Few people probably know that the Parokya ni Edgar frontman is actually related to Donny, and is part of the Pangilinan clan.

He once posted a photo with his uncle, Anthony Pangilinan, and his cousins Donny and Ella.

“Uncle and pinsans,” he captioned the photo.

Chito once explained the family connection, revealing that he and Donny are actually second cousins, with their dads being first cousins.

“2nd cousin ko sya, kasi mag-pinsang buo yung dad ko at yung dad niya...kaya naging related din ako kay Tito Gary V, Ate Sharon, and yes, kay Kuya Kiko,” he explained.

He is also related to Gary Valenciano, who is married to his aunt, Angeli Pangilinan.

“I was 9 when I personally met him for the 1st time at a family reunion. Sir Gary was there because he and my Aunt Angeli got married...so he became my uncle,” he shared.

“We also asked him to be our Ninong when Neri and I got married,” he added.

Chito went on to explain how he was closer to his uncles and aunts from the Pangilinan side of the family since they were closer to him in age than his cousins.

“Kuya and ate ang mga tawag namin sa mga pinsan ng Dad ko na malapit sa age namin... wala lang, nasanay lang kami,” he shared.

“Actually, mas naging close kami sa mga uncle at auntie namin sa Pangilinan side dahil mas magkakalapit kami ng age, at sila yung mas madalas naming makatambay, compared sa mga pinsan namin, who were a lot younger than we were,” he added.

In one of his previous posts on Instagram, Chito laughingly questioned why people would often get surprised to know that he and Donny were related.  

He showed childhood photos of themselves, probably hoping to show a family resemblance.

“Bakit nga ba gulat na gulat yung iba na pinsan ko si Donny...eh lamang lang naman sya sa akin ng mga 2,000,000 na paligo 🙄,” he quipped.
