As the star of the new series Unbreak My Heart, Jodi Sta. Maria said it is a big honor to headline the historic first ever collaboration between ABS-CBN Corporation and GMA Network.“Ten years ago kasi, no one thought, not in even in their wildest dreams that this moment right here will be possible. Before kasi, ABS-CBN and GMA were rivals, competitors for ratings, for audience shares. But now, nagbago na po yun.“We are no longer rivals but we are here to be collaborators and partners with goals. And that is to provide more opportunities for the people in the industry that we have grown to love and to give our audience, to provide them quality entertainment.“So I feel grateful, honored, and blessed to be part of this project. And I would like to thank everyone who made this beautiful impossibility possible. To ABS-CBN, GMA, and of course, to Viu who will provide us with a streaming platform, strengthening. and showcasing Filipino talent worldwide. I mean now we can share our talents and everyone is just given the opportunity to work. It’s really more of job opportunities for this industry that we have grown to love. Maria goes on vacation with family in Coron </a></div>While doing promotions for the show, Jodi revealed how she felt finally being able to step inside the GMA studios, which is in the same area as the kapamilya network in Quezon City.“I would always see lang naman GMA from the outside, yung facade lang naman and I’ve always wondered, ano kaya yung nasa loob ng studio nila or nung building na yun. Meron din kaya silang offices or mga studio, ganyan.“So when we were told that we were going to promote Unbreak My Heart on All Out Sundays, I asked where and then they said, ‘Sa GMA.’ So honestly, yung unang sampa ko dun, ang surreal ng feeling. I just felt goosebumps all over my body and parang siguro dun lang din nag-sink in na OMG this is really happening,” she added.In the romantic drama series, Jodi plays the role of a heartbroken woman named Rose who travels to Europe and gets involved in a May-December love affair with another wounded soul she crosses paths with.Also starring in the show is Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, Eula Valdes, Sunshine Cruz, Romnick Sarmenta, Victor Neri, Nikki Valdez, Laurice Guillen, Jeremiah Lisbo, Bianca de Vera, Will Ashley, Dionne Monsanto, Maey Bautista, and PJ Endrinal.Unbreak My Heart was shot in scenic locations in Switzerland, Italy, and the Philippines and is directed by Manny Palo and Dolly Dulu and produced by Dreamscape Entertainment.
