South Korean star Cha Eun-woo set to return to Manila in July for fan meeting

South Korean actor and singer Cha Eun-woo is set to return to the Philippines.

Eun-woo is set to headline a fan meeting as the brand ambassador of Dunkin' Philippines this coming July.

"Get your hearts ready for a night of Cha Eun-Woo this July 2, 2023. Stay tuned on Dunkin’ PH Official Page for more details. 😍💕🫰#ChaEunWooDunkinPH," the food brand announced.

Fans online were quick to express their excitement over the news.

"Thank you for bringing eunwoo here in Ph. We're all excited to see him. Thank you again, Ninang @dunkinph," one fan tweeted.

"Okay close to my birthday hopefully secured tix for this time around," another fan commented.

"Can't wait omg!" another fan posted.

The last time Eun-woo staged a fan meeting in Manila was in August 2022 for his "Just One 10 Minute: Starry Caravan" fan meet at the Araneta Coliseum.

In an interview with the media back in August, Eun-woo shared the preparations he made for his Pinoy fans.

"It's been a while since I came here, so we tried our best to really prepare a show where you can come and have fun, and enjoy yourselves," he stated during the press conference. 

Eun-woo also expressed his gratitude to his Pinoy fans during his fan meeting at the Big Dome in August 2022. 

"I'm very happy, because I haven't seen my Filipino fans in so long… I'm really happy to see you all. Mahal ko kayo (I love you all)," he remarked.

Eun-woo debuted as a member of K-Pop group Astro in February 2016.

As part of Astro, they released three studio albums including All Light in 2019, All Yours in 2021, and Drive to the Starry Road in 2022.

Aside from music, the K-Pop star pursued a career in acting. Among his Korean series were Gangnam Beauty, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, Island, and True Beauty, among others.

Eun-woo received several awards as an actor including Rising Star Award in 2018 at the Asia Artist Awards, Best New Actor in 2018 at the Korea Drama Awards, and Excellence Award for an Actor in a Wednesday-Thursday Drama in 2019 at the MBC Drama Awards, among others.
