Zack Tabudlo speaks up after getting dragged into Moira-Jason breakup again, opens up about recovery

Zack Tabudlo has spoken for the first time about the rumors circulating on social media about his alleged involvement in the breakup of Moira Dela Torre and estranged husband Jason Marvin Hernandez. His post comes days after composer Lolito Go seemingly hinted that Moira also cheated on Jason, referencing Zack’s song “Binibini” and its lyrics in his post. While Lolito did not specifically mention the name of the person, fans speculated that he was indeed referring to Jason. “Dahil nakahanap na rin siya ng pamalit. Someone who will ‘dance in the rain’ with her and call her ‘Binibini.’ I’ll leave to to you to guess kung sino ang tinutukoy ko,” Lolito said. But even before Lolito’s post, rumors about the two most streamed artists in the country having a relationship have been going around on social media. So, Zack decided to break his silence on the matter and address the issue once and for all. In a lengthy Facebook post sharing a photo of him in the emergency room of a hospital, Zack stated by saying that he decided to speak up because he wanted to tell his side of the story. “I have been quiet for a year, and never said a thing about anyone nor said a word about all of what’s going on around the internet around my friends and about me. but it’s time for me to tell my side of the story,” he said. Zack went on to share that he first met Moira in January 2022 via Zoom for their collaboration “Iba.” But their first physical meeting happened in March 2022. Jason wasn’t present at the time, he was in abu dhabi making music and I was looking forward to meeting both of them but it didn’t happen there.Since then, they have met several times for work, doing guest appearances together to promote their song until it came to a point where he became part of Moira’s circle of friends. He admitted they would spend time together and sleep over but only make music together.“At this time as well, her team and group of friends would sleep over and make music together in their house, which I later then became a part of. we all made music together, spent a lot of amazing time, and most importantly built such an amazing relationship with the circle,” he said. But Zack said he himself was going through a lot at that time dealing with the pressures around him. “I that time was not in my most stable mental state. Work was nonstop, the pressure of making music and being one of the top artists, and having to show up every day for the fans and people who support me through my music,” he said. While it was a tough time for him, Moira and his newfound circle became his source of strength during those difficult moments.“That circle and especially Moira, became my family. I would break down to them almost every night during those times because I found that safety and that protection from them,” he said.But a week after his stay at Moira’s house, he and his newfound friends found out that Jason and Moira have broken up, revealing that they were all in shock by the news. Since Moira needed someone to lean on, the “Malaya” singer invited them over for dinner.“When we found out about the split and the reason for it, Moira reached out to the group and invited everyone for dinner. She needed company and support during those heavy times. We were all in shock at what happened,” he said. They were also there for her in the months that followed, Moira turned to them for support and they were there for her through and through. During the months that past, we were all just present for her. our group of friends would go out for dinner, we would all take her out individually as well, we watch movies, and we would do anything to make her happy and give her company, but it was also months of breaking down, traumas, trust issues, and moira was just not well,” he remarked.While he only wanted to help, he said he didn’t expect to get accused of a lot of things for them.“And more unfortunate things came with it. because of these actions and support towards her, we were accused of so much things, especially me,” he stated.“I was there for a friend who needed my help and I wanted to give that protection and support that she gave me when I needed it. But that’s not what everyone saw and what everyone knew,” he added.Those accusations led to Zack attempting to take his life away. Everyone around thought he wasn’t going to make it. But thankfully, he survived.“I kept quiet but it all became too heavy for me. the pressure, the accusations, the music, my mental state, and everything just crumbled down for me. and I gave up. I couldn’t take it and I committed suicide. but thank God he gave me another chance,” Zack said.“I was in the hospital in a comma unresponsive, and everyone thought I didn’t make it. after hours of them waiting, I woke up in the ER and I was in therapy in the ward for a good amount of time,” he added.So when he came out of the hospital, he and Moira got tattoos together to symbolize their survival.
