He called out the news publication that wrote the fake news.</p><p>“FAKE NEWS ALERT! While I appreciate the positive comments, this one, ultimately is FAKE NEWS,” he wrote. </p><p>“WALA po akong natanggap na offer to host Eat Bulaga on GMA 7. At kung magkaroon man, I will STILL DECLINE dahil hindi na po maa-accommodate ng schedule ko at the moment,” he added.</p><p>Michael acknowledged the ongoing feud between the old hosts of <em>Eat Bulaga!</em> and the management of TAPE, Inc. He also hoped that things would be settled soon between the two parties as he would like to “feel welcome” should there be a time that he would appear in both <em>Eat Bulaga!</em> and the upcoming show of TVJ.</p><p>“It’s unfortunate na hindi naging maayos ang paghihiwalay ng dalawang kampo and I’m hoping na ma-plantsa na ang gusot. Alam ko kasi na in the future, I will appear on both shows for whatever reason and I would like to feel welcome when that time comes,” he said. </p><p>He advised his followers to watch out for fake news circulating online and that netizens should also be smart readers. </p><p>“I hope this clears things out for anyone who’s asking. He confessed that he felt ashamed of giving little time to the noontime show if he would continue hosting. </p><p>“Napakaliit na oras nalang ang mailalaan ko for them, nakakahiya naman magrtabaho ng ganun. Besides that time, kaputukan talaga ng AlDub. I think that was the perfect time for me to do something else,” he previously shared.</p>
