It’s Showtime host and Rocksteddy frontman Teddy Corpuz and comedienne and former Eat Bulaga host Gladys Guevarra performed at a Filipino restaurant bar in the United States. 

According to photos sent to PUSH recently, Teddy and Gladys’ live performances took place during resto-bar Gimik Republik’s two-day grand relaunch on March 11 and 12, 2023.

Located in the Chinatown district in Las Vegas, USA, Gimik Republik offers Pinoy food with live OPM performances from various Filipino artists.

Pinoy music groups like Heroes of the Day, The Playlist LV, Left Arm Scar, Vegas Pnoy Band and the Hausband played songs from Pinoy rock bands The Eraserheads and Rivermaya during the first night, while Teddy and Gladys jammed with overseas Filipinos during the second day.

At the time, Teddy had flown to the US for a much-awaited vacation with his wife Jasmin. They toured around 7 Magic Mountains, a famous tourist spot in Nevada, and shared his cycling experience while in Las Vegas on social media. 

"This is how we ride in Vegas! Thank you Covid Riders Las Vegas for adopting me!" he said in an Instagram post.

Gladys, on the other hand, now resides in the US. According to reports published last year, Gladys was able to acquire a house of her own in the States.

“Day 1… Finally, a home [I] can call my own. Ang hirap, pero thank you Lord,” she began her Instagram post presenting her new home in August last year.

Gladys’ last showbiz project in the Philippines was the GMA show titled Anak ni Waray VS. Anak ni Biday in 2021 where she was a guest cast member.
