Red Velvet's Kim Ye-rim describes working with Lee Eun-Saem in new K-drama ‘Cheongdam International High School’

<div style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%">Kim Ye-rim, also known as Yeri of K-pop girl group Red Velvet, dabbles into acting once again as she stars in the latest tvN Asia drama <em>Cheongdam International High School, </em>also known as <em>Bitch X Rich.</em> </span></div><div style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%">The K-drama series, which premiered last May 31, revolves around a murder mystery. Kim Ye-rim plays the role of Baek Je Na, a wealthy student at Cheongdam International High School who bullies a poor student named Kim Hye In, played by <em>All Of Us Are Dead </em>actress Lee Eun-Saem. She took on the lead role of Oh Ha-rin in this project. </span></div><div style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%">The 24-year-old K-idol has appeared in several shows and hosted variety programs before. </span></div><div style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%">In an e-mail interview with PUSH, Kim Ye-rim shared what made her say “yes” to this opportunity of doing <em>Cheongdam International High School</em>. She said, “<span style="color:black">I was attracted to this character because it has a different charm that I have never shown to the public before. So, I had the desire to do better, and this project had become a big challenge for me.</span>” </span></div><p style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%;color:black">Talking about her preparations for her role as Baek Je Na, she said, “Some of the lines are far from the words I often use in real life, so I thought about how to express them naturally. I think that&#x27;s how we got to get close to each other in a short time. She is also a cheerful and bright girl, so I got a lot of positive energy when shooting,” Kim Ye-rim answered.</span></div><div style="margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-left:0in;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%;color:black">When it comes to the most memorable part of doing this project, Kim Ye-rim recalled a specific scene in the series that posed a challenge. “All the scenes are memorable, but there is a scene that I had to speak in English which was my first time acting in another language, so I was very nervous.
