Singer-actor Kyle Echarri took a trip down memory lane as he marked the eighth anniversary of his life-changing stint on the hit singing competition show The Voice Kids.

On Tuesday, June 6, Kyle posted a clip of his audition during the second season of The Voice Kids back in 2015. In the caption, the actor, 19, expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported him on his journey.

“Crazy to think exactly 8 years ago today, this little kid auditioned for The Voice Kids,” he wrote.

“Just wanna say thank you to everyone who’s been supporting me through the years and can’t wait for the 8 more years ahead. Love you all,” he added.

Since joining The Voice Kids, Kyle has gone on to establish himself as one of the best actors of his generation. He recently starred in the summer series Beach Bros, as well as the musical drama Lyric & Beat. On television, Kyle appeared in the hit action series The Iron Heart as the young Apollo.

Currently, Kyle is gearing up to star in Dreamscape Entertainment’s upcoming series Senior High. 

The project marks his onscreen reunion with his former Kadenang Ginto and Lyric & Beat co-star Andrea Brillantes. Joining the two are Juan Karlos Labajo, Elijah Canlas, Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Daniela Stranner, Miggy Jimenez, Gela Atayde, and Tommy Alejandrino.

"When the parents are AWAY, the kids will definitely PLAY! Who are you when no one is watching?" Dreamscape had teased.

The series also stars Sylvia Sanchez, Angel Aquino, Baron Geisler, and Mon Confiado. No exact release date was given for Senior High, with Dreamscape only teasing that it is coming soon.
