<p>Venezuelan actor Fernando Carrillo, popular for his portrayal of Fernando Jose in the Mexican telenovela <em>Rosalinda,</em> admitted that he once went out on a dinner with Korina Sanchez.</p><p>In an interview with Boy Abunda, Fernando was asked if he ever dated a Filipina.</p><p>&quot;It depends on what ‘date’ means, but I went to dinner with a very smart Filipino. Can I say who it was? Or are we going to get in trouble,” he shared.</p><p>“I have huge respect for Korina Sanchez. And we went to have dinner with some friends. [Maybe that], we can call it a date. But she’s a dear friend whom I respect and I admire very much,” he said.</p><p>In the same interview, Fernando also talked about his <em>Rosalinda</em> co-star Thalia.</p><p>&quot;I haven&#x27;t seen Thalia in a while because she&#x27;s based in New York with her beautiful family, with her husband and kids. There is so much talent in the Philippines,&quot; he added. </p><p>Fernando also shared that he will be relocating to his home country of Venezuela soon where he is building his dream home.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;ve been living in Mexico for some years but now I&#x27;m moving to Venezuela where I&#x27;m building a house I&#x27;ve always dreamed of, in the island of Margarita and I would love all of you Filipinos to consider coming to Venezuela at some point,&quot; he said.</p>
