In her Instagram post last June 9, Kris revealed that Bimby, her son with ex-husband and basketball player James Yap, would be studying in a school offering the International Baccalaureate Program. The post was accompanied by photos of Kris sharing a goodbye hug with Bimby at the Los Angeles airport.

She wrote, “Tuesdays are my immunosuppressant/chemotherapy day. He left to fly home on Wednesday—I only have until the end of June until I need to lessen my activities in high density places because by then my immunity will be too weak to fight any infection.

He’s had to grow up so fast because he needed to learn to be responsible in helping taking care of me; kawawa kasi nakikita niya the many new physical physical manifestations because from 3 when we came to the 🇺🇸 a year ago, naging 5 na yung diagnosed autoimmune conditions ko. As his mama I felt for a few months he deserves to enjoy being 16.

In an earlier post, Kris celebrated her eldest son Josh’s birthday. Even though she was away from her son, Kris went shopping for new clothes for him at a nearby mall. Josh turned 28 years old last June 4.

Mama will need to semi-isolate in 3 weeks because my immunity already went down. You promised me you’ll spend Christmas up to my birthday here. Please keep praying for all of us?” she added.
