It’s been more than a decade since Brazilian-Japanese actor Fabio Ide first arrived in the country to pursue a modeling career. This year, he finally accomplished his dream of being part of a teleserye with his addition as one of the new cast members of the second season of the action series The Iron Heart.

“First kasi itong show na ito, first show ko sa ABS-CBN so that’s a big change for me. I’m very happy binigyan ako ng bagong opportunity dito sa ABS-CBN. I’m just very happy and very overwhelmed,” he gushed.

He was also excited to be part of an action series which was very different from his past projects.

“This is my first series na super action talaga. So may baril, may fight scenes, may drama, as in lahat sabay sabay na. So siyempre as an actor, kasi yung mga shows ko dati either is drama or is comedy. Pero itong show na ito halo halo na eh, sabay sabay lahat. So it’s very challenging but it’s very exciting and overwhelming because we’ve been given the opportunity to work with one of the best actors in the Philippines.”

“The cast is very amazing, everybody is just very welcoming and it’s something that I really appreciate talaga sa show na ito. Everyone is really willing to learn from one another to make the show yung pinakamagandang show dito sa Pililipinas ngayon. So yun ang maganda talaga, to work with these people who are really trying to put all this energy together. Hindi competition, this is just like everybody working together as a group, as a family, to give the best for the show and of course give the best para sa mga viewers natin. So it’s just an amazing experience talaga.”

“Ako si Darron, I’m the new gangster member of the Tatsulok family who’s led by Ms. Selene played by Dimples Romana. Medyo malakas ako dito in terms of I’m all over the place trying to help Ms. Selene. I’m kind of like developing something sa kanya. Bago akong character dito sa show na ito kya we’re still trying to develop a lot of different ways to create the synergy between me and the group. Pero so far everything has been great and I hope you guys enjoy more of Darron as a character especially sa mga nakakatawa na mga eksena namin sa show,” he shared.

“Ever since I joined this show it has been like an amazing experience lalo na kasi it’s my first action series so bago talaga lahat sa akin and every time I go to taping it’s like sobrang excited ako talaga kasi bago talaga eh, from the cast, from the production, from the show itself because it’s season two.

“So everyday I learn more about my character, about the people I’m working with, about the show. And the fact that we have three directors is just so amazing kasi with one director you do a lot of action scenes. We do a lot of fighting and we play with guns and stuff.

It’s just amazing how the whole show goes and how you kind of have to switch from one feeling to another in the same day. So that has been such an amazing experience for me and I’m just learning so much from the director sand my co-actors. So it’s been an amazing experience. i’m just really excited to be part of the show,” he explained.
