She’s growing each day and I have to keep up. I want to be able to run and carry her without catching my breath. The abs and cuts are only perks that come with it,” she wrote.</p><p>Jessy also admitted that she went through postpartum depression before being able to accept the body.</p><p>“The truth is, accepting your postpartum body gives a HUGE impact on your mental health. I went through postpartum depression and it wasn’t easy. The sudden change, the fact that your life has changed in so many ways but everything and everyone around you seems to be the same,” she admitted.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/4/28/vilma-santos-edu-manzano-reunite-at-granddaughter-s-baptism-1537"><strong>READ: Vilma Santos, Edu Manzano reunite at granddaughter’s baptism<br/></strong></a></div><p>Jessy went on to give a piece of advice to other moms on how to overcome the stress that comes after giving birth.</p><p>“We will always have insecurities, that’s a given. But once you acknowledge the strength of carrying a life inside of you for 9 months, giving birth and caring for your baby WHILE recovering is definitely amazing,” she added.</p><p>For Jessy, the goal is not to “bounce back” to her old body but rather to strengthen what she has now.</p><p>“The same body that gave you the greatest blessing you’ll ever have,” she ended her post.</p><p>Meanwhile, her husband, Luis Manzano, showed his support in the comments section of her post.</p><p>On the other hand, moms who follow Jessy on Instagram shared stories about their own fitness journeys.</p>
