Second-generation K-Pop idols Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun are set to part ways with SM Entertainment after 17 years of being exclusive artists under the said agency.

The three did not renew their exclusive contracts, according to an official statement by SM Entertainment earlier this week.

The rest of the Super Junior members –– Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, and Ryeowook –– have all renewed their contracts with the label and will continue their individual activities with them.

“Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun have not renewed their contracts with us and will each be pursuing individual activities,” SM Entertainment said in a statement.

Despite leaving the agency, SM Entertainment assured that the three Super Junior members will not leave the group and shall continue promoting with them in the future.

“Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun will be continuing their Super Junior promotions together with SM. We will be cheering the three of them on as they take on new challenges, and we plan to communicate closely with them so that they can effectively carry out both their group activities and their solo activities at the same time,” the statement continued.

Meanwhile, reports have been coming in that Kyuhyun is in talks to sign with the entertainment agency Antenna.

This was later confirmed by the label but noted that nothing has been settled at the moment.

“Kyuhyun is currently in talks to sign an exclusive contract with us, and the outlook is favorable. Nothing has yet been decided,” Antenna briefly said in a statement.

Antenna currently has several big South Korean artists under its belt, including veteran comedian Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Hyori, Lee Sang-soon, and Lee Mijoo, among others.

Meanwhile, Donghae and Eunhyuk have yet to make their announcement about their next agency as of writing.

Donghae and Eunhyuk debuted as members of Super Junior back in 2006. Kyuhyun, on the other hand, was added as a member of the boy group in 2006.

The South Korean boy group produced several hit songs such as "Mr. Simple," "Sorry Sorry," "Black Suit," and "U," among others.
