Bimby Aquino Yap diagnosed with Pneumonia

It started as a bad cough &amp; sore throat,” she wrote. </p><p>The Queen of All Media added that it was confirmed later on that Bimby acquired pneumonia. Kris said it&#x27;s the third time her son had pneumonia over the last three years, with the first one having taken place last March 2020. </p><p>“Monday, July 10, Dr. Henry our Fil-Am friend who thankfully has been so kind to me &amp; my sons came by to check on Bimb. I felt my heart crumble because Bimb from Dr Henry&#x27;s assessment had pneumonia. 3rd time na for bimb- his 2nd bout w/ pneumonia happened during the initial pandemic lockdown when we were in Puerto Galera March 2020,” Kris said. </p><p>Kris went on to share that Bimby also has other including asthma and skin asthma, as well as environmental allergies. </p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/7/10/bimby-aquino-yap-explores-the-possibility-of-a-showbiz-career-1950"><strong>READ: Bimby Aquino Yap explores the possibility of a showbiz career</strong></a></div><p>Kris admitted to getting emotional after she found out the diagnosis from Bimb&#x27;s doctor. She added she was told she wasn&#x27;t allowed to come near her son due to the medication she has been taking for her therapy. </p><p>“It was the worst feeling in the world as most parents would agree when your family doctor says you aren&#x27;t allowed to go near your son and help take care of him because you&#x27;re undergoing immunosuppressant therapy using chemotherapy medication,” she continued. </p><p>Meanwhile, Kris said she feels thankful for her eldest child, Josh, for staying by his younger sibling&#x27;s side <span style="vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">through and through. </span></p><p>“He was bimb&#x27;s constant companion &amp; even though my nurses kept telling kuya to stop hugging bimb tuloy pa rin sya. Thank God matibay kuya&#x27;s resistance, hindi sya nahawa ng kahit ubo o sipon,” she said. </p><p>Bimb is currently recovering from the disease and is already “90% recovered” according to Kris.</p><p>Meanwhile, Kris is taking different kinds of medication and is looking positive to fight her battle with the various medical conditions she has. </p>
