‘Double Take’ singer Dhruv to perform live in Manila

<p>Breakout singer Dhruv is set to serenade his Filipino fans on Tuesday, July 25 at The Podium hall.</p><p>His show in Manila is part of his Asia tour. It is produced by PULP Live World.</p><p>Dhruv is behind the hit &quot;Double Take&quot; which went viral on social media platform TikTok. It was first released in 2019 before it became a viral hit online.</p><p>In an interview with <em>Nylon Manila </em>in 2021, the singer shared that his song &quot;Double Take&quot; is about falling falling in love with a friend.</p><p>&quot;It happened at a time in my life where that was what was happening and yeah, if you’ve experienced that to anyone you know, is an experience that is very destabilizing. It’s like, you don’t expect it. It’s about the shift that happens. In an interview with NME last year, the singer expressed his desire to perform in Asia.</p><p>&quot;I really want to go back to Asia and perform live there. A lot of my goals relate to being able to play more often and for bigger audiences, especially where I grew up,&quot; he said.</p><p>The singer continued: &quot;I think when I was younger, there was this idea that, at least with the music industry, America is where things happen, which is why I wanted to move there.
