<p>Actress Kris Bernal and her husband Perry Choi celebrated the upcoming arrival of their first child with a baby shower.</p><p>Photos taken by Nice Print Photography from their celebration were shared by Kris on Instagram this Tuesday, July 4.</p><p>“This little baby girl is being welcomed in Paris.. and she’s still in mama’s tummy! All things pink and Paris to celebrate our bundle of joy, coming into this world in just a couple weeks!” she wrote in the caption.</p><p>“My family, friends, and suppliers really went all out and we are grateful for all the love and support! Siyempre it’s my child. So whether it’s a boy or a girl, mamahalin ko ‘to. Pero dahil lahat ng pamangkin ko puro lalaki, then sa side din ni Perry halos lahat lalaki… si Perry wala siyang sister. So both kami, sana maging girl. I want a girl version of Perry eh,” she explained.</p><p>Despite all the challenges she faced during her pregnancy, Kris said she wants to have more babies with Perry.</p><p>“At first parang gusto ko isa lang. Pero ngayon na… ang sarap pala ng feeling na ganito. Na you’re growing a human inside your body. Parang everything’s like a miracle to me. So gusto ko, mga dalawa, tatlo siguro,” she said.</p><p>Previously, the actress said she is planning to name her baby Luka, after the famous NBA star Luka Doncic.</p><p>“It’s so weird kasi ang pinaglilihian ko, basketball player. Si Luka Doncic. Sobrang nagiging fan mode ako. ... Ang weird nga. I never liked basketball. …  I never got interested sa basketball until I got pregnant. … So, sabi ko, gusto ko ‘yung baby ko, may Luka na name,” she explained. </p><p>Kris is expected to give birth this August. She and her husband — a chef and business owner — have been married since 2021.  </p>
