Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared her worst Twitter experience on her newly opened account on the social media platform, Threads, earlier this week.

The beauty queen recalled how troll accounts would spew hate on her for voicing her opinion on the controversial Anti-Terror Law.

Pia’s posts on Threads have received more than a thousand likes and hundreds of replies narrating their story as well.

“Okay, story time! Share your worst Twitter experience ⬇️ I’ll go first - getting hate tweets literally every 30 seconds in 2020 when I voiced out my opinion on the Anti-Terror Bill,” she recalled.

The 33-year-old newlywed added how the trolls would directly tweet her nasty stuff, even reaching a point where she had to uninstall the social media app from her phone for her own well-being.

“I remember not even shading the govt or the president, I just tweeted a hashtag and got so much hate. One of the worst was “sasaksan ko ng tubo p*ke mo, bobo ka walang alam.” I had to uninstall the app for a week to avoid checking the mentions,” she added.

In another post, Pia remembered how one account used to stalk her for years. She added that the stalker was there to chime in with almost every single post she made on Twitter.

She also revealed that the account even went as far as directly messaging the brands she endorsed for them to drop her by sharing false narratives about her.

“I also remember being stalked & ridiculed by a certain account for YEARS. And regularly too. This person was reading into every single post, comment, and video I was doing on every platform, including all my family & close friends. They would also message the endorsements & brands I work with to destroy me with made-up narratives,” she shared.

Pia revealed that she reported the account to Twitter after she had gathered all the evidence against the said account. But Pia said that the social media platform did nothing to help her.

“It was clearly slander & abusive behavior. I had to sit there & take it for years,” she said.

With the new social media app on the rise, Pia shared how she’s been enjoying it so far.
