Despite his international success, apl.de.ap shared that there are still many goals that he wants to accomplish in life.

In an episode of TFC News Conversations, the singer shared that one of his current goals is to help farmers in the Philippines.

"I am thankful and blessed with what we have accomplished so far but I have a lot more things to do from helping other kids, other musicians, to farming, helping farmers, so I have other aspirations beyond music. Now it's like agriculture, to fixing the soil in the Philippines," he remarked.

Apl shared that he used to be a farmer himself so he aims to extend a hand to farmers in the Philippines.

"I used to be a farmer growing up, tagging along with my grandfather. I was the designated kalabaw watcher. I used to plant sweet potatoes, kamoteng kahoy, tubo, corn. I grew up farming. The first thing I bought when I had money was a rice farm. And now my mom never has to buy rice," he said.

Meanwhile, when it comes to music, apl relayed that he has been working on projects with Filipino artists.

"I've been doing The Voice of the Philippines and I keep up with all the kids, with all the artists, so we got a project coming. We have a Christmas album coming, so much stuff to do," he said.

When asked for his advice for aspiring singers who want to achieve the level of success that he has attained, apl replied, "Believe in yourself, get your lawyer, a manager and you could utilize all the social media to your benefit now and promote yourself."

According to apl, his family has always been his source of motivation in his journey.

"My family was my motivation whenever I have doubts and [when] I am like, 'I am having a hard time. Am I gonna make it? 'Then I think about my family and that gives me more motivation, alright, I can't take no for an answer, I'm gonna make this happen," he said.
