Kristel Fulgar opens up about why she was not able to host Seo In-guk’s fan meet

<p>Kristel Fulgar spoke up about the reason she was not able to host the fan meeting of Korean actor-singer Seo In-guk in Manila.</p><p>In a vlog she posted on Tuesday, August 15, Kristel said that it was the first time in her career that she was able to encounter such a situation.  </p><p>&quot;First time kong naka-experience ng ganitong scenario sa 20 years ko sa industriya ng entertainment. Nandito na ako 7 a.m., nag-rehearse and then eventually sinabihan ako ng Korean technical director (from HY Official) na hindi na daw ako magho-host,&quot; she shared.</p><p>Kristel said that it was the only hosting event that she accepted because she wanted to do it for her idol.</p><div><iframe width="944" height="531" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HK88d-IDIiU" title="What happened at the Seo In Guk Fan Meeting in Manila" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>&quot;Ang tagal ko &#x27;tong prinepare, ang tagal kong prinepare ang sarili ko dito. Wala akong ibang tinaggap na hosting kundi ito lang event na &#x27;to kasi nga dahil kay Seo In-guk. Alam ko hindi naman ako super expert sa hosting pero alam ko na kaya kong kumonek sa kapwa ko fans ni Seo In-guk kaya &#x27;yun talaga pinakagusto ko,&quot; she stated.  </p><p>Kristel remarked that she was not only going in as a host but also as the representative of In-guk&#x27;s fandom.</p><p>She continued: &quot;Eleven years akong fan ni Seo In-guk kaya kahit hindi ko forte ang hosting, tinanggap ko &#x27;to kasi tinitingnan ako as representative ng fans ni Seo In-guk so hindi lang ako basta maging host sa stage kundi magiging fan ako.&quot;  </p><p>Kristel shared that the production team thought that she lacked the energy during rehearsal.</p><p>&quot;Since rehearsal &#x27;yun hindi ako sanay na ibigay ang 100 percent ng energy ko. Hindi man lang ako binigyan ng second chance na mapatunayan &#x27;yung sarili ko. At nahihiya ako sa mga taong nag-expect na ako &#x27;yung haharap sa kanila. I&#x27;m so sorry guys,&quot; she said while turning emotiional.</p><p>&quot;Alam kong may mga fans ako, supporters na bumili ng ticket para mapanood ako sa stage, para makita niyo &#x27;yung kilig ko pag nasa stage na ako with Seo In-guk pero hindi ko &#x27;yun mabibigay.&quot;</p><p>Before the event started, Kristel was able to interact with In-guk backstage.</p><p>During their conversation, In-guk expressed his concern about what happened.</p><p>&quot;Are you alright?&quot; In-guk asked Kristel.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m okay. I&#x27;m not gonna be hosting anymore. They just told me that it was just sorted that way. I actually got so worried,&quot; In-guk stated.</p><p>Kristel remarked that In-guk showing his concern and checking up on her really made her heart melt. She also thanked the team of In-guk for cheering her up.</p>
