Lovi Poe has opened up about her engagement to fiancé Monty Blencowe, weeks after revealing that she is now engaged.Speaking with Metro, the actress said the proposal happened during one of her early morning runs in Malibu, where she and her boyfriend first met.“I usually wake up early in the morning, 4 o’clock or so, to go out for a run and watch the sunrise. That’s not his thing, he’s not a morning person,” she recalled. “So the next day, he’s like, you know what, I’ll watch the sunrise with you. She recalled telling her beau, “I think you need to start working out.”But then, Monty asked her to close her eyes. He was aiming for a romantic evening in Malibu, but then…“My sister and and I got back [from a charity polo event in Los Angeles], super drunk,” Lovi laughed.“He was so stressed. He lets me grow as an individual. He doesn’t take it against me that I work so hard, that I’m so far away from him,” she said. “That’s why I said yes.”During her chat with Metro, Lovi also opened up about the experience of planning her big wedding to Monty, saying it&#x27;s been &quot;tough.&quot;“Sobrang hirap mag-wedding planning. Du’n mo talaga ma-te-test, so many things you have to consider,” she said.“He’s very hands-on,” she said of Monty. “A lot of my friends appreciate the fact that when I’m on set, he goes on meetings with people from the wedding planner, the florist, and everything.”Regardless of how stressful the wedding preparations have been, Lovi couldn&#x27;t be more excited to marry Monty.Telling Metro, “I’m getting married! C’est la vie!”
