With acting projects one after another, actor David Licauco is on a roll as he juggles his showbiz career with his entrepreneurial ventures. David currently owns two restaurant businesses and a construction company.

During the ribbon-cutting event of Bluewater Day Spa's new branch in Pasig, David talked about the projects he dreams of fulfilling as he would like to inspire more people.

David skyrocketed to fame after starring in a successful period piece. A new soap is in the works for him but according to the 29-year-old actor, when it comes to show business, he still has a lot of roles that he wants to portray. "I'm a go-getter, gusto ko pa sanang maraming roles na magampanan," he said.

He then went on to share a realization about his work. "But I think, ang gusto kong ma...I feel like kasi sa simula, gusto mo 'yung mga ganu'ng bagay eh. Gusto mo ng fame, gusto mo ng money, gusto mo ng mas maraming projects for the career. But I feel as you grow older, you just… you also want to inspire people. Siguro I feel like I haven't used my platform enough to inspire people. That's what I want to do," he continued.

Talking about investments, he said that he puts his hard-earned money into his businesses. Aside from his two restaurant businesses—Sobra Cafe and Kuya Korea, David said that he also has a construction company.

"I also have a construction company actually... My own... Dalawa kami, may partner ako na architect," he told members of the press.

“I feel like 'yun 'yung gusto kong pasukin kasi nu'ng kino-construct 'yung mga restaurants ko, na-realize ko na kaya ko pala itong gawin mag-isa. Bakit pa ako kumukuha ng contractor? So dahil doon, naisipan kong gumawa ng construction company.

“I feel like gano'n naman 'yung buhay e. You just never know kung saan ka pupunta… Just taking all the opportunity that you can get and accepting it. Galingan mo lang lagi," David added.
