Oh di ba, pinopromote ko,&quot; Jean laughingly added. </p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m very, very proud of you, anak. Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, your professionalism pagdating sa trabaho. Isa akong proud mother ng isang Jennica Garcia.”</p><p>Jean then continued to express her wishes for her, &quot;Basta gusto ko maging happy ka sa trabaho. Maging happy ka someday with a partner, di ba? Wish ko pa rin &#x27;yun, bakit naman hindi, di ba? As a working single mom, Jennica said that things could get overwhelming so she also allots time for self-care. </p><p>“Actually, three weeks na po akong hindi nakakapag-destress. But when I do get the chance, I make sure that I get a massage and then, magpa-body scrub. Mahilig po talaga akong mag-alaga ng balat. Nandiyan naman ‘yung siyempre, inaalagaan natin ‘yung balat natin from our home. Pero iba rin po kasi ‘yung nakahiga ka na lang, di po ba?” </p><p>She then went on to share a memorable experience when she treated herself to a spa. “Tapos recently nga po, meron akong naranasan last month. First time ko pong mag-spa. ‘Yung sa hotel po? Medyo mahal po ‘yung binayad ko… Parang five digits nga po ‘yun siya. Pero alam niyo po? Narealize ko, kailangan ko pong magsipag sa buhay kasi ang sarap,” she said, recalling the relaxation she felt during the time. </p><p>Emphasizing the importance of self-care, Jennica shared her learnings, “I think in general no, hindi lang kapag ka-nanay ka na. As you age, you really want to take good care of yourself. Kung meron man akong parang sana nagawa ko sooner, dapat ‘nung nag-asawa ako, dapat nag-aayos pa rin ako. Kasi parang nawala na siya sa isip ko. Kasi syempre, first-time mom ka. Naalala ko ‘nun, when I had my first child, breastfeeding pa rin ako ‘nung three years old siya tapos nabuntis ako ulit. Patulong tayo sa mga biyenan, sa mga kamag-anak. Please make sure kumakain ka ng mainit na pagkain,” she said.</p>
