EXCLUSIVE: Vivoree Esclito wants to get into theater: ‘It’s such an important training ground’

<p>Last seen in ABS-CBN shows like <a href="http://ent.abs-cbn.com/theironheart" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>The Iron Heart</em></u></strong></a> and <a href="http://ent.abs-cbn.com/hesintoher"><strong><u><em>He’s Into Her</em></u></strong></a>, actress and singer Vivoree Esclito shared her excitement over exploring another part of her showbiz career and getting into theater after being part of the first round of auditions for Tabing Ilog the musical held at the PETA theater in Quezon City last August 19.</p><p>“They invited me to audition but I expressed naman talaga my interest in doing theater kasi I feel like it’s such an important training ground for me rin. Matagal ko na rin talaga gusto. I’ve watched mga clips lang nung show pero hindi ko pa siya natatapos talaga. Kasi she’s very likable and nung pinapanuod ko yung mga clips sa Tabing Ilog talagang grabe nakaka-relate ako sa kanya kasi simple lang siya and taga-probinsya din kasi ako kaya talagang nakikita ko yung sarili ko sa kanya,” she explained. </p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2022/8/3/fresh-scoops/vivoree-muntik-nang-talikuran-ang-showbiz-201611" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>READ: Vivoree Esclito, muntik nang talikuran ang showbiz?</u></strong></a></div><p>During the first day of auditions, Vivoree was asked to do an acting and dance audition along with other Star Magic artists like Anji Salvacion, Andi Abaya, Kobie Brown, Angela Ken, and Gello Marquez.</p><p>“I just tried my best and hoped for the best and kung ano lang yung alam kung training like vocal warm ups and aralin yung monologue. Yun lang nagawa ko. I hope if magka-chance talaga ako na mag-theater, na mas mahasa ako at mas matutunan ko pa kung paano mag-prepare. Ready naman ako of course. She also picked up a new hobby.</p><p>“Effort talaga. I think you have to take care of yourself as a whole, physically you have to eat healthy, magpapawis ka palagi and mentally of course you have to get enough amount of rest and do the things that you want to do. Hindi lang yung parang work ka lang ng work kasi may tendency talaga na ma-drain ka. You have to still do your hobbies, you likes, and do what makes you happy. I just watch anime. I love anime. I’m watching Black Clover right now. Nung nag-pandemic lang ako na-hook sa anime,” she revealed. </p><p>With 1.5M followers on Instagram, Vivoree also said she has her off days as well.</p><p>“Of course. I just let myself feel those emotions kasi those emotions are valid no matter what they are. Kung sad ka or stressed ka, you just have to let yourself feel and acknowledge those feelings para malaman mo kung paano siya i-handle. For exmaple, if I feel like I’m stressed, kakain ako ng ice cream or I watch my favorite anime, ganyan,” she added.</p>
