WATCH: First glimpse of Julia Montes, Alden Richards in ‘Five Break-ups and a Romance’

A peek of Julia Montes and Alden Richards's upcoming film Five Break-Ups and a Romance was posted online on Monday, August 28.

Director Antoinette Jadaone shared a portion of the film's trailer on her TikTok page much to the delight of the fans.

"Direk Ayrin (Irene Emma Villamor) shared with me their trailer for Five Break-ups and a Romance and just had to share this part, gulat me!" Antoinette wrote.

In the video, Julia and Alden can be seen kissing.  

Julia can also be heard saying, "Hindi ko talaga gets eh. Ano bang balak mo, bakit mo ginagawa ito?"

"Wala ka talagang naramdaman?" Alden stated in the trailer.  

Fans online were quick to react to the video.

"We're seated for a bolder and fiercer Julia!!! 😍" one fan commented.

"OMG direk longer version! Thank you!!! Sobrang excited na meee," another fan wrote.

"I'll make sure to watch this film," another fan wrote.

It was in April when it was announced that Julia and Alden will be headlining Five Break-Ups and a Romance.

In an interview with the press last April, Alden expressed his elation to be paired with Julia for a big screen project.

"Na-excite ako with the idea of me being paired with Julia kasi I know how brilliant of an actress she is. Kumbaga parang si Jules 'yung isa sa leading ladies, parang naka-partner ko so far, by far na unang meeting pa lang ay wala ng pretensions, naramdaman ko ang sincerity immediately," he said.

"So hindi rin ako natakot to give my all in this film kasi siguro napaka-importante kung paano pinakikila ng bawa't isa ang inividuality nila bago kami mag-start."

Meanwhile, Julia admitted that she was surprised when the project was offered to her.

"Nagulat ko. Hindi na ako magkukunwari. Seriously ako ba talaga? And then siyempre honored and happy ako to work with him," she stated.

Julia shared that both of them instantly became comfortable with each other from the very first day of shooting the film.

"Big thing kasi sa akin yung co-actor na kailangan comfortable ako kasi hindi mo madadaya yung connection. 'Yung character naman sometimes hindi naman kami 'yun. Malayo sa real personalities naming pero 'yung connection, 'yun ang kailangan mong i-build prior," she said.

"But in the Philippines, wala naman tayong luxury of time to have that bonding prior to shoots. Pero sa amin noong first (day) pa lang, comfortable na kami. Pinakita ko lang y'ung tunay na ako. Kwentuhan tapos comfortable lang. 'Yun ang na-appreciate ko. Nakita ko talaga siya kung paano siya in real life," the actress added.
