Alden Richards and Julia Montes shared the teaser for their upcoming movie Five Breakups and A Romance.

On Saturday, September 16, fans of the two stars got a glimpse of their film which is set to be released this October.

Alden and Julia dropped on the respective Instagram pages of the two stars.

Julia posted: "Mga Kapamilya, Kapuso at mga Kapatid, inaanyayahan ko po kayong panoorin ang aming pelikulang #FiveBreakupsAndARomance showing this Oct 18 in all cinemas nationwide."

The actress said that she learned a lot from doing the film.

"Ito ang pelikulang bumago sa akin, nagturo sa akin na mas lalong maging matapang at nagparealize sa akin importansya ng pagmamahal, pagpapatawad at pagmamahal ng paulit ulit," she said.

Julia also extended her gratitude to her co-star Alden Richards. She also thanked the film's director Irene Villamor.

"[Alden] salamat sa pagsama sa akin sa journey na ito. Salamat sa pagkakaibigan, salamat at napakadali ng lahat dahil magkasama tayo sa proyektong ito. Direk @ayrin you are a genius. Maraming salamat sa napakagandang istorya na ibinigay mo sa amin ni Alden. Mahal na mahal kita. Suportahan po natin ang pelikulang Pilipino," she said.

Meanwhile, Alden wrote: "Once connected, forever entangled."

In the teaser, we can hear Alden's character Lance explaining the "Quantum Entanglement" phenomenon to Justine, played by Julia.

"There's this weird phenomenon scientists call 'Quantum Entanglement.' Once entangled, particles will always have an effect on each other. Kahit gaano sila kalayo sa isa't isa, once we have that connection, we're basically one. At kung ano man ang magbago sa'yo, magbabago din ako," Alden said in the teaser.

It is the first team-up of Julia and Alden on the big screen.

In the press conference about the movie last June, Julia described the film as her dream project.

"Ito matatawag ko talagang dream project. Hindi ko inexpect na sa akin ipagkakatiwala yung role. To be with Alden also with direk Irene (Villamor) na hindi ko in-expect na makaka-work kasi I'm a hopeless romantic kind of girl so pag nanonood ako ng film, what if kaya pine-play ko 'yung ganyang role?" she said.

Five Breakups and A Romance is produced by Cornerstone Studios, GMA Pictures, and Alden's company Myriad Corporation.
