Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk have created their own entertainment agency after leaving SM Entertainment months ago. The two have founded ODE Entertainment and are co-CEOs of the company.

The two South Korean singers' exclusive contract with SM Entertainment expired last August 31––officially ending their relationship with their label after 18 years.

In a report by Soompi, a source close to Donghae and Eunhyuk said they established their new entertainment agency to continue their individual and duo activities in the future.

“Eunhyuk and Donghae, who have been close friends for a long time, have established the company together. They plan to continue their individual activities as well as their D&E duo activities under ODE Entertainment,” the source revealed.

The close source added that the newly-founded company plans to recruit other artists in the future as well once everything has been settled. There have been no names mentioned as to who Donghae and Eunhyuk plan to recruit.

Donghae and Eunhyuk are still members of Super Junior and will continue performing with them despite the change of agencies. The close source added that the duo will always participate with group activities despite rumors circulating on social media.

“Although their exclusive contracts with SM have ended, both of them have a deep affection for Super Junior. They plan to always participate in Super Junior’s group activities,” the source added.

Apart from Donghae and Eunhyuk, fellow member Kyuhyun decided to not renew his contract with SM Entertainment as well. All other members of Super Junior –– Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, and Ryeowook –– have all renewed their contracts with the label and will continue their individual activities with them.

In a previous statement of SM Entertainment, they expressed their gratitude towards the three who left the agency and will continue to support them.

“We will be cheering the three of them on as they take on new challenges, and we plan to communicate closely with them so that they can effectively carry out both their group activities and their solo activities at the same time,” SM Entertainment previously mentioned.

Donghae and Eunhyuk debuted as members of Super Junior back in 2006. They have also debuted as the fifth official subunit of the boy group in 2011 with the digital single, “Oppa, Oppa.”
