It’s the reunion pageant fans have long been waiting for.

Eight years since they competed in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, Pia Wurtzbach and Colombia’s Ariadna Gutierrez were finally reunited while attending Paris Fashion Week in France.

In photos she shared on Instagram, Pia and Ariadna are seen strutting down a street in Paris while dressed in stylish clothes — she in an all-black ensemble, and Ariadna in a gray sweatshirt and pants combo.

“The reunion you’ve all been waiting for,” Pia captioned the post, followed by a winking face emoji.

In 2015, Pia and Ariadna made major headlines when host Steve Harvey mistakenly declared Ariadna as the winner of the Miss Universe pageant. She was already crowned when Steve walked back up the stage to announce that he had made a gaffe and that the actual winner was Pia.

In the comments of Pia’s post, many were happy to see the two reunited, including their sisters, Miss Universe 2017 Demi Tebow of South Africa and 2022 titleholder Andrea Meza of Mexico.

“This is powerful! Love this,” Demi said.

“I looove this,” echoed Andrea.

Meanwhile, Ariadna said in her Instagram Stories, “It’s been 8 years since the last time we were together. So happy to see you again @piawurtzbach.”

“When time makes sure you meet the right people once again,” she added.

Earlier, Ariadna said she would love to meet up with Pia so they could catch up and talk about the controversy surrounding the infamous Miss Universe mix-up.

“I really would love to meet her in person. If Pia is watching this, I really would love to meet you very very soon and like, talk about everything that happened from your point of view, from your experience,” she said in interview with Jeff Fernando on Famous Ka.

“Because whatever I say — and I say it every time I have an interview — people think I hate her or people think I hate Steve Harvey or whatever. I don’t hate Pia, I don’t hate Steve, because Pia and I we were both victims of what happened. So every time I think about what happened to me, I always think about her and I put myself in her shoes… So Pia, if you’re watching this, I really would love to meet you very soon. And I have nothing but respect for you and I’m very happy for your success,” she added.
