AC Bonifacio reveals who was her first official boyfriend in showbiz: ‘I learned from it!’

<p>After being announced as part of the cast of the newest installment of Regal Films Entertainment’s well-loved horror film franchise <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll Extreme</em>, singer and actress AC Bonifacio shared how it feels to be part of her first big screen project.</p><p>“I am so, so excited. First of all, this is my first movie ever and to be part of <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll,</em> it’s so legendary. I’ve been watching this since I was a baby, literally since I was born in Canada pa po.</p><p>“So now that I’m here and I get to tell my family and my friends that I get to be a part of the new generation of <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll,</em> it’s really an honor and I’m just so, so excited for you guys to see it because it’s super fun. The rumored couple first met and became friends after becoming contestants on ABS-CBN’s reality dance competition show <em>Dance Kids Philippines</em> in 2016.</p><p>In her solo interview with <a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com"><strong>PUSH</strong></a>, the <em>Shake, Rattle, &amp; Roll </em>actress finally confirmed that she and Nate were more than just friends.</p><p>“It was my first official (relationship). First official so parang a learning lesson talaga. And like everyone said, it’s just experience. I just go through it. I learned from it, and then I go on to the next. Then I live the rest of my life.”</p><p>Coming from the same home network, <a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com"><strong>PUSH</strong></a> asked AC if she is still in contact or with the BGYO member.</p><p>“No. When there’s work. That’s really all it is.</p><p>“I’ve learned a lot from that relationship and it’s put me in a spot where I really have to be there for myself. I just have to love myself and I don’t know if you’ve noticed but I’ve been doing a lot of solo traveling, a lot of the things for myself. And I’m enjoying it so, so, so, so much.</p><p>“Doing things not just just in terms of my personal life but also my career. I’ve been trying to discover and explore and do things on my own also. I’m so young. I’m 20 about to be 21 and I’m taking my relationship, my bad relationship as a life lesson,” she explained to <a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com"><strong>PUSH</strong></a>.</p><p>As for her plans for the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball on September 30, AC revealed why she is happy to not bring an escort for the event. </p><p>“I love going to the ball solo (laughs). So that’s what we’re going to do. This is my third ball na because of the pandemic, obviously. And then the prom also. But I love doing things just solo. I love being with myself, going on the red carpet, and just showing off me,” she said.</p>
