Red Carpet Official: Stars who arrived at the ABS-CBN Ball as a couple for the first time

<p>The ABS-CBN Ball is one of the Kapamilya network’s most awaited events. It is always a treat to watch the celebrities all glammed up and walking down the red carpet. It cannot be denied that fans are on the lookout of who’s going with who, and this year seems to be the one where several celebrity couples have chosen to make their real-life relationship “red carpet official”. </p><p>One of the early birds at ABS-CBN’s Forever Grateful Ball were <a href="http://ent.abs-cbn.com/batangquiapo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u><em>FPJ’s Batang Quiapo</em></u></strong></a>’s Coco Martin with Julia Montes. </p><p>While there have been speculations and hopes that the two would get together in real life, it was just recently that they went public with their relationship. Red carpet correspondent Gretchen Fullido teased them about going official, since their “soft launch” was already done. This was the first time that Coco and Julia walked down the red carpet as a couple. </p><p>“We’re good and very happy kasi eto, nagsama-sama tayo ulit ngayon after a long time,” said Julia. After all, it has been four years since the last ABS-CBN Ball. “Bibihira nalang nangyayari ito, and tama talaga ‘yung tagline natin for tonight: Forever Grateful.”</p><p>Julia shared how she was looking forward to being able to gather and mingle with colleagues once again. Likewise, Coco shared that he was grateful that all of ABS-CBN friends and colleagues were together again in celebration. </p><p>“Hanggang ngayon, nandito tayo, nagsasama-sama, para patunayan ‘yung pagmamahalan, pagkakaisa, na hanggang ngayon lumalaban pa rin,” said Coco. “Nagpapasalamat ako dahil hanggang ngayon, may trabaho tayo. Marami pa ring trabaho ‘yung mga kasamahan natin sa industriya. They have both been spotted in each other’s life updates on social media, spending time not just as a couple or with their friends, but with each other’s families as well. </p><p>This year marks their first time to officially walk down the red carpet as a real-life couple. </p><p>“In spite of everything that ABS-CBN has been through in the past few years, it’s nice that we’re still here and still standing, and everybody’s getting together tonight,” said Ria of what she was grateful for. </p><p>“Ang dami nang nangyari nitong mga nakaraang taon,” recalled Zanjoe. “‘Yung loyalty ng ABS sa amin na mga artists nila, hindi nawala.
