"With 'Golden Hour,' we had started trying different collaborations with people from different countries and we had done some research to see who the fans love in the Philippines and it was always SB19. And so we knew we got to reach out to these guys. Then I heard their music and then seeing their performance, really such an impressive group of guys," he said in an interview with CNN Philippines.

On why they chose to sing in Filipino for their first international collaboration, SB19 member Pablo said, "We definitely would like to put the beautiful Filipino language in there so that's why we decided to write it in Filipino."
