OPM band Ben&Ben wrote a heartwarming message for their fans earlier this week as they celebrated their third anniversary of dubbing them Liwanag––the official fandom name. The band took to their social media accounts to express their gratitude for the support they’ve received ever since they began their journey.

Ben&Ben is composed of Paolo and Miguel Benjamin, Patricia Lasaten, Agnes Reoma, Poch Barretto, Jam Villanueva, Toni Muñoz, Keifer Cabugao, and Andrew de Pano.

“Magmula ng mabuo ang Liwanag, napakarami na rin nating napagdaanang magkasama. Maliban sa mga di malilimutang mga shows at concerts, at maraming awiting kinantang magkasama, kahit papano, nasubaybayan din namin yung pagsulong ng mga buhay niyo, sa pamamagitan ng pagkwento niyo sa’min kung kamusta kayo, mapa-online man or pag nagkikita tayo sa mga shows,” the band wrote.

The OPM band added how proud they are of their fans who have taken on the journey of life and showed resilience through it all.

“Gusto naming sabihing, proud kami sa kung papaano mo salubungin ang tamis at pait ng buhay! Nakakahangang makita kung pa’no ka magpakatatag, magpakatotoo, at higit sa lahat, kung pa’no ka magmahal at mag-alay ng sarili. Ang dami naming natututunan sa inyo,” they added.

Ben&Ben continued to show how thankful they are for their fans for supporting them––whether it be through watching concerts, voting, or buying their albums.

“Ramdam namin ang pagmamahal niyo, lagi’t lagi. Salamat sa pagkapit kahit na may mga pagsubok, sa’n man sa buhay galing yung mga yun,” they shared.

They promised to work harder in the future and write each song with their fans in mind during the process.

“Saan man tayo dalhin ng buhay at ng mga pangarap natin, gusto naming sabihing, lagi’t laging magiging magkaugnay ang mga puso natin. Sa bawat liriko at nota ng mga kantang sinusulat at inaawit, kayo ang nasa puso’t isipan namin. We will always work our hardest and make you proud! Let’s reach new heights together,” they said. 

“Pipiliin namin kayo, araw-araw. See you online, sa shows, or sa tapat niyo! 😉 Labyu, Liwanag,” Ben&Ben closed.

Meanwhile, the band is set to perform this coming November 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City for the ON Music Festival. They will be joined by other OPM and K-Pop acts such as Moira Dela Torre, Darren Espanto, Adie, EXO’s Suho, Melomance, wave to earth, and Seori.
