Anne Curtis shared what she sees as the coolest part of her job as an artist.

"The coolest thing about my job is being able to make people happy and smile. That's one of the things I value about being an actress and also as being a television host on It's Showtime. We're able to make people smile and laugh," she said in an interview with L’Officiel Philippines.

The Kapamilya star shared that she appreciates it when people approach her and thank her for making them happy.

"It means so much to me when someone comes up to you and actually speaks to you and says, 'Maraming salamat, napapatawa mo kami,' so that's what makes my job extra special."

When asked what moment in her career made her say that "she's arrived," Anne shared that it was when she had her first sold-out concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

"As funny as that sounds, I will never forget [it]. I was so nervous, I was shaking tremendously and when the microphone standee where I was inside opened, I thought I wouldn't be able to sing because [Araneta] was filled to the brim with people screaming for someone who can't sing," she recalled.

The actress went on: "So for me that's an unforgettable moment which I'll forever be grateful to everyone who came to watch me. It really made me feel so special," she added.

Anne admitted that she had hesitations that she would fill up the Big Dome.

"Even when they said, 'Sold out na siya ha?' In my mind, 'Pero darating ba sila?' Even right before I went on stage, I remember there was a clip, Mark Nicdao was backstage just taking random BTS videos for me, this is right before stepping on stage, you see me with a blank stare," she recalled.

Anne continued: "Kahit sinong kumakausap sa akin, naka [blank stare] lang ako and that's why I felt so nervous even though they kept on telling me, 'Hindi. Okay siya. May tao.' In my mind, 'Paano kung wala?' It was really a special moment. I pretty much cried while performing."
